Please read these terms and conditions carefully and make sure that you understand them, before ordering any Products from our site. You should understand that by ordering any of our Products, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Please click on the button marked “I Accept” during the check out process. Please note that if you refuse to accept these terms and conditions, you will not be able to order any Products from our site.
We operate the website www.rossandrossfood.co.uk. We are Ross & Ross Food, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 7721128 and with our registered office at Unit 10 Worcester Road Trading Estate, Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire OX7 5XW. Our VAT number is 168026505.
Our site is only intended for use by people resident in the UK. However, we are now accepting orders from International countries. Of which we have no control over International countries Customs controls so you will order at your own risk of the order being accepted in your country. In general there is usually no problem sending but each individual Customs is beyond our control.
By placing an order through our site, you warrant that:
• you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts
• you are purchasing the products outside the course of your normal business or trade and not for resale
• You are confirming that you are 18yrs or older. It is illegal for us to sell alcohol to anyone under the age of 18yrs in the UK. Or you are over the legal drinking age of your county’s specific laws. Such as over 21yrs old in USA.
• We only sell items to adults (ie. those aged 18yrs or over). If you are under 18yrs, you may purchase items from this website, only with the supervision with a parent or guardian
After placing an order, you will receive an e-mail from us acknowledging that we have received your order. Please note that this does not mean that your order has been accepted. Your order constitutes an offer to us to buy a Product. All orders are subject to acceptance by us, and we will confirm such acceptance to you by sending you an e-mail that confirms that the Product has been dispatched (Dispatch Confirmation). The contract between us (Contract) will only be formed when we send you the Dispatch Confirmation.
The Contract will relate only to those products whose dispatch we have confirmed in the Dispatch Confirmation. We will not be obliged to supply any other products which may have been part of your order until the dispatch of such products has been confirmed in a separate Dispatch Confirmation.
We offer a speedy courier service with all our orders and aim to deliver within 2-3 working days. This is only available to those ordering from the UK mainland. Customers ordering from the Scottish Highlands or Islands, Channel Islands and Northern Ireland may experience a 3-5 day delivery time.
Standard delivery – 3-5 working days
2 Day delivery – 2 working days
International Delivery – 5-7 working days
We don’t deliver to Post Office (P.O.) boxes or shipping agent addresses.
Delivery will be between the hours of 8am and 6pm, we are unable to confirm a time.
The delivery date will be agreed and confirmed with you and a signed acknowledgement of receipt will be required. If a receipt cannot be obtained, a card will be left with a contact number for you to collect the goods from the local courier’s depot or request another delivery date.
Before the dispatch of your goods, you may request special arrangements (example, to leave with a neighbour or other secure location of your choosing) which we will follow, at your risk, as the insurance may become null and void.
The goods will not be held by the local courier for longer than five days, after which, they will be returned to us to await your further instructions. You will be charged the couriers return carriage rates and later re-dispatch costs.
Your Right to Cancel
If you order over the phone or online you have the legal right to cancel your order within seven working days of receipt and then providing you are able to return the goods in the original packaging and in new condition.
Amending Your Order – before dispatch of goods
In addition to your legal rights and obligations should you change your mind, you can cancel or change your order by calling us on 01608 645 503 or email email@example.com up until the point of its dispatch to you or a third party.
If for any reason you are not happy with the goods you have received, please contact us within 24 hours on firstname.lastname@example.org. Please return any goods in unused and undamaged condition within 7 days of purchase, for an exchange or full refund. It is your responsibility to make sure the goods are returned to us safely and at your expense.
Secure Online Payment
To make sure you always have the highest level of security, your payment details are automatically encrypted when you enter them. We use Paypal as the secure server. You can pay for your online order using your PayPal account or via PayPal as a guest using Visa, Visa Electron, Maestro, MasterCard, JCB, Delta cards.
Please note we don’t accept AMEX / Diners Club.
