We -Ross Bearman and Ross Whitmill – (hence Ross & Ross Food, for any of you that were wondering) have worked in the fine food industry for over 15 years, most notably at Le Petit Blanc, Malmaison, Paxton & Whitfield and Peach Pub Company. We both share a passion for great British food and especially charcuterie using traditional artisan methods.
We met when we both opened gastro style pubs for Peach Pubs. We quickly realised we both shared an enthusiasm for fine food, a love of the Cotswolds and British Charcuterie, so decided to set up together in July 2011.
After spending three years producing our award winning Pate and Terrines for everyone from Harrods and Daylesford Organic to little independent delis, we decided in January 2015 to focus on our wedding and event catering, and our range of Great British foodie gift boxes. Last year we expanded the ever popular Man Box collection to include a cider variety, and we launched The Homemade Curing Kit… Bacon, which went down a storm with bacon lovers across the Kingdom. Keep your eyes peeled for expansions to the range over 2015.
The flip side to our catering is our street food – our 10 Hour Slow Cooked Cotswold Lamb with Salsa Verde is still a firm favourite on the scene. During the Spring and Summer we tour the country’s best food festivals and events, spreading lamb love wherever we go.
