We – Ross Bearman and Ross Whitmill – (hence Ross & Ross Food, for any of you that were wondering) have collectively worked with fine food for over 40 years, most notably at Le Petit Blanc, Malmaison, Paxton & Whitfield and Peach Pub Company. We both share a passion for great British food and especially charcuterie using traditional artisan methods.
We met when we both opened gastro style pubs for Peach Pubs. We quickly realised we both shared an enthusiasm for fine food, a love of the Cotswolds and British Charcuterie, so decided to set up together in July 2011.
In the beginning, we started our Street Food business (winning BBC Good Food Street Food award), made products for national groups and high end London Food Halls, did private catering (cooking for the then Prime Minister) and lots of other foodie related products.
After spending three years producing our award winning Pate and Terrines for everyone from Harrods and Daylesford Organic to little independent delis, we decided in January 2015 to focus on our strengths – innovation and creativity.
Our focus turned to our Foodie gifts and Catering. We have stuck to our ethos and continued using the best local and British ingredients.
We have created many types of food hampers and our biggest success has been with our Homemade Curing kits – a kit to cure your own bacon at home. And our ever expanding grocery ranges of British BBQ and British Roasts along with matching gifts. You can find these sold all across Britain and now spreading across the world. No world domination yet but we are working on it!!
Our Catering has grown massively in the past couple of years and you can now see us in some of the most fabulous venues around the Cotswolds.
The business is growing from strength to strength and now have two distinct areas – Handmade British Food & Gifts and Event Catering.
And so the story continues!
